Randy Miller, dancer, Nia instructor

Randy Miller is an amazing man and teacher. His Nia classes are fun and energetic, but more than that, Randy is an example of a man who is expressing himself fully in every way. His spirit, poise, confidence, body art and jewelry and most of all his compassion for his students create an atmosphere of love and humor and experimentation in his classes. I photographed him as the sun set outside my home in the high desert of Santa Fe, NM.  The atmosphere was magical and the photos touched on mystical. Neither of us had any idea what would transpire in the end. The images brought out a side of Randy many haven’t seen before.
